Sims 1 save won’t reset

I truly don’t know if it’s a bug or if I’m doing something wrong. But I wanted to test out the game and see if it was working so I was clicking a few buttons deleted a lot by accident. I have never played the sims 1 before so my first thought was just to uninstall and reinstall I did it 3 times and it would not reset the neighborhood I searched around the internet and even downloaded userdata and it still wouldn’t reset the neighborhood. Any idea or if I’m doing something wrong please let me know.

    I followed that link and deleted The Sims 25 folder and it completely broken the neighbourhood. No houses/families on the game and when clicking anywhere, my game would just crash

    Did you reinstall the game afterwards? Manually restoring the userdata structure as suggested by @puzzleaddict would work but it appears you also deleted the Userdata folders inside the install path, not just at the save location. In this case reinstalling is mandatory.
