Sims 1 still has issues and needs another update
After the Feb 4th update, the game finally launches for me, but this weird fuzzy black bar is across the screen during gameplay and it won't go away... it makes it so hard to see their needs and forget about trying to build a house or buy anything because its also hard to see.... and EA almost fixed it. I have never played Sims 1 ever and I was so looking forward to this release so that I finally could experience it. Please release another update EA!
itsoliviarose Please update your graphics driver, which is from 2019 and may be the issue. Here's the newest driver from Intel:
Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart after installing and before trying to play.
By the way, your C drive is somewhat low on space. It's not critical yet, but now would be a good time to move what you can to the larger D drive.
