still cant open
i still can not open the sims 1 .it says something about a vulkan device all my grafics are updated i can play the sims 2 fine

Your GPU is an intel HD Graphics, it's integrated into your Intel i7 2600 CPU.
It was released in 2011 and is not compatible with Vulkan, which is used in the new TS1 only (that's why TS2 works fine).
Your current options are: installing a compatible GPU or contacting an advisor and checking if a refund is available for your case.
