zettaira Can you tell what's happening when you load the game? I'm wondering if you accidentally saved during an event that causes crashing and that you can't avoid because it's either already happening or just about to when you reload the game.
Unfortunately, the game doesn't save backup copies of saves, so once the save is corrupted, that's it unless you made your own backup. But if you can figure out what's triggering the crashes, that might help you or other users who might get stuck in the same context.
I tried deleting the last save in the folder, and it worked for about 30mins before the crash happened again. This time my sim was just chilling in the hot tub. So it's just not one isolated activity or event the sim is doing. My sim has done something different in all crashes, and it's all the same. If EA can't figure out a solution, I hope they let steam issue refunds. Because I paid $40 for the bundle, and I can't even fully enjoy it before it crashes. And having to lose all my saves and start fresh every time it happens, is not $40 well spent. I didn't buy the sims bundle to do "speed runs" before the crashes start.
