The Sims 1 Legacy Collection Can’t Progress Romantically

I’ve been playing the sims 1 for a couple days and even though my sims relationships are at 100 there’s missing romantic dialogue and I can’t progress my relationship any further. I can’t woohoo, I can’t ask them to be my boyfriend/girlfriend, nothing!
