I've noticed that after the update, I can now pick up and delete pets using the move_objects on cheat BUT you still can't pick up sims and delete them. The only thing that you can pick up and delete is their plumbob. It's kinda annoying because if your sim gets stuck between something or just glitches out and can't move, the cheat was really helpful to move them elsewhere or reset the sim to solve that issue. I really wish this would get sorted :(
The issue was fixed for me, and I run the game on Steam, I can pick up Sims and the invisible portals too. What platform are you running the game from?
I have two sims stuck inside of each other and neither of them can move and was so sad to see that the move_objects doesn't work on sims in legacy! Not sure how to fix my sims, they're both about to die and they were both really far in careers. I'll have to wait for them to patch this to play this family again v.v
