The Sims 1 won't play in any resolution other than native.

So, i bought the sims 1 legacy collection on origin/the ea app, but when i opened the game the neighborhood map was ridiculously small and cropped, the ui was tiny, and the game was way too zoomed ou...

    abc36890014  Please update your graphics driver, which is quite old.  Nvidia doesn't offer a current driver for your graphics card, but the newest one is a couple years newer than yours.  Go here:

    https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/

    Choose GeForce, 600M series, GTX 660M, Windows 10, and download the Game Ready Driver.  Run it as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Restart after installing and before trying to play.

abc36890014  I don't know that I can actually help, but I'm willing to try.  Please list the reduced screen resolution you tried, and whether alt-enter worked there.

Please also provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

    My default resolution is 1920 x 1080, i tried every other resolution besides that and they all resulted in the screen flickering.
