The Sims Legacy Houses Invisible, Graphics Driver Update Error

Hi, I've been having similar issues all week trying to install The Sims Legacy Collection. I keep getting to 96% installed and then its stops and sends me an error message saying: VC++ runtime redistribution package was not loaded and install could not happen. I've tried just about every solution online from clearing the cache, reinstalling the EA app, running as administrator, tried to fix the drivers and had geek squad look into it and all they say is its an EA server issue but everyone else seems to have installed it. My Sims 4 also struggles with updates lately. Any help would be so appreciated.

It's not new, exactly, but it's a lot newer than your current version, which is from 2016.

Ok here is mine. It says it doesn't detect a vulcan something or other and I need to update my driver.

649ea06ba1221722  No, definitely not.  I don't know what driver you'd need or even if you have an Intel iGPU.  So please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

Yes so on that page, I used the second download, the Intel 7th-10th Gen Processor Graphics - Windows one. Tried to run that as admin and that’s the error I got. Is that the one I should have downloaded? Or all three? Thank you for your help!

And did you run it as an admin?

If that doesn't or didn't help, try doing a clean uninstall of your current driver and using that one to reinstall.  Here's how:
