Sims 1 Legacy Bundle - Houses invisible

I already made sure my graphics drivers are up to date but all houses I try to play in show up invisible. The Sims 2 Legacy game seems to be running fine. Has anyone found a fix for this? I have an H...

    stina44  The driver for your laptop's graphics chip is from 2018, and that's likely the issue here.  So please update the driver.  Here's the newest version from Intel:

    https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/124967/intel-core-i58250u-processor-6m-cache-up-to-3-40-ghz/downloads.html

    Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Restart your computer after installing and before trying to play.

    If you get an error about the driver being incompatible, there's a way around it, so let me know and I'll write it out.  The driver IS compatible, it's just that HP software sometimes blocks the installation of drivers not provided by HP.
