Update: I uninstalled Sims 1, and reinstalled. And the the previous User Data has disappeared. Instead, it's now in:
Program Files/EA Games/The Sims Legacy/User Data/
When I put the .FAM files in the Import folder, they now show up in the game. But the game is unable to Import them and after trying three times crashes.
So even tho I'm still unable to import at least now it's the same problem that others are seeing.
