Vulkan initialization error message
I keep getting the message: "we are unable to find a suitable vulkan device on this machine. Please update your graphic card drivers and try again."
I have an intel HD 5500 graphics driver
- updated my computer (Windows 10)
- checked for updates for graphics driver (none available)
- uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable x86 and x64
- uninstalled and reinstalled the game
- repaired the game
- I do not have opencl, opengl, or vulkan compatibility pack installed on my computer.
I'm at a loss, and from what I can see my graphics processor seems to be incompatible with sims legacy as it stands. Will EA fix this? It seems to be a problem for many people and I don't understand why this cannot be fixed given that my computer runs the other sims games fine... This is very disappointing!
Any further suggestions or hope for a fix?
