Who's still playing the Sims 1 from time to time?

Aw no! My PC decided to do some updates as I wanted to play. Typical lol
I've never played Lucky palms. I was thinking of buying a new world but wasn't sure where to start. I've not played all the worlds a lot. I don't think I've played very long in the world that cane with showtime. I have ventured into island paradise but it was laggy. I've since modded the game on the advice of some lovely people in TS3 forum but I'm not sure if it would help? Mod was Overwatch and one other I can't remember.
