After new patch I can't open my game

Please can someone tell me what to do? I really hate that at the time I have free time I can't play and EA do nothing to fix it. I remember there was a time after update (I don't remember which one but not long time ago) when EA app didn't allow me to open game because I didn't download it (???). Like bro, I played this game yesterday, of course I have it on my computer. Why every patch ts2 has new annoying issues? Is there any way to fix it without "help" of EA? I am loosing my mind..
