Base Game Neighbourhoods Disappeared

Pretty much as the title says. I bought the Legacy Sims 2 today. Installed it. Opened it up, tried to get into Strangetown & the game crashed. When I went back in, there's only the 3 DLC neighbouhood's, the ability to create a neighbourhood from scratch & none of the base game pre-loaded ones. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired the game, repaired the EA app. They're still gone. Everything else is working fine though. Has anyone else experienced this recently or is there a fix for this I haven't yet tried?

  • Peapod79 You can try resetting your Sims 2 user data to restore it to the vanilla state. Go to Documents\EA Games\ and delete "The Sims 2 Legacy" folder. When you launch the game, a new one will be created with base game neighborhoods hopefully restored.

I followed these instructions. I had reloaded my game back in along with EA. The folder doesn't have "The Sims 2 Legacy". What do I do now?
