Blue terrain when snowing - The Sims 2 Legacy

I bought The Sims 2 Legacy and everything is working perfectly - but it started to snow in my game and the terrain began to flash blue?

I've read that this is apparently a custom content issue but I don't have any CC in my game... I only just recently bought the Legacy game and have been playing it vanilla... So I have no idea what's going on!

simmerjesse Although blue flashing is more commonly a CC issue (missing textures), it can happen with Maxis content too.

Please repair the game and let me know whether this happens in every neighborhood or just one specific lot.
