In the Sims 2, when I take more than one Sim out in my car and my Sims arrive home. They get stuck on the road immediately outside of my home lot. The car is invisible and they won't move off the road at all for several of hours. This is a pretty bad game breaking bug. I hope the Sims team can fix this.
I’m currently having the same issue, but I don’t even make it to the lot, it keeps getting stuck on the transitioning screen to the lot and when I close and reopen the game it’s stuck in the car as your comment mentions :( hopefully they fix this soon

Got this exact same bug - Even with the car being stuck too. If you check too, I bet the owner and alarm has been removed.
I didn't have it initally though.
I've posted this in another thread, but it only started occuring after another person joined the household. Did anyone else here experience that or is that just a pure coincidence?
