Can you have a bar or restaurant as a home business?

I'm trying to make a British style pub for my sim family to run as a home business but have noticed that when I visit community restaurants I am unable to interact with the chef and they seem to be ti...

You can have a bar as a home business, but it is not so with restaurants. Restaurants require a host podium and a special restaurant stove, both of these aren't avalible for the residental lots.
