[CURRENT ISSUE] Sims and Pets Disappearing

I had 3 adult sims disappear again after downloading patch #2. I left the lot after saving, played a new household, saved and saw those 3 were missing again. The sims that were missing had been visiting the family I had played and saved out of at the time. When I went to load the missing sim family, I got an infinite loading screen, came back after restarting and they were deleted

Still having this issue after the patch release and deleting saves. All was well for a while but my cat disappeared after travelling home from the 50s diner in downturn 😕

Same issues here.   If the game crashes for any reason, I can expect not to have a Sim in my family when I load back in.  I've also noticed if you travel with more than one Sim, there is a risk that you will lose a Sim too when you are returning home. When I created sims in university and they moved out after graduation they vanished. They are meant to go in the Sim bin, but they vanished instead. I'm going to take a break from the game because honestly, I'm tired of restarting, making significant progress, and then losing it. 

I have the same problem with my sims and their dogs and cats. Maybe we will have to wait a new patch to fix it.

Update. I uninstalled, deleted all files, reinstalled. Seemed okay for a day. Now my teenagers are now missing from game. No townies are every effected

I have the same issue and I had such high hopes after the update but it still happens. 

I tried making a pet with the newest patch, but I'm still returning without pet. 

I got the new Sims 2 legacy collection and my saved games just keep getting lost everytime i restart the game. Its like i am starting a new game from the begining, with all the tutorials and messages appearing. Also the premade Neighborhood townies are not visible in the list where you can create a new family or place a pre existing. I have tried deleting the whole folder from the my documents in order for a new one to recreate as i have seen that this works for some people, i have uninstalled one drive and nothing has worked. I dont know what else to do at this point.😪

• The dog Sim is missing from the household after moving to a lot
