Do you swap the Pleasant twins boyfriends?

I have noticed a lil' trend going on where people like to swap Dustin and Dirk. Dustin is a bad boy, and Lilith looks like a rebel. While Dirk is studious and Angela seems to be a goody two shoes. I have never thought abotu swaping the couples, because to me Angela is putting on a facade, while to me Lilith is just an book that you shouldn't judge by its cover. I wanna know what the majority of you think about it.
  • The Pleasant household is a total disaster. I break the sisters up with their current boyfriends and pair them up with better ones.
  • I don't purposely break them up, it just works out that way once they get into the next stage of their life, usually in college.

In my game, Dustin and Angela grew apart naturally after high school (game mechanic, as you know). I decided not to get them back together and they ended up settling down happily with other people.

As for Lilith and Dirk, they had a complicated on again off again thing. After Mary-Sue kicked Daniel to the curb, she embarked on a life of crime and took up with Dirk who became her partner in crime. They ended up marrying, but Lilith never completely got over him. She and Dirk had an affair at one point which resulted in twins. When Mary-Sue realized they were Dirk's she kicked Lilith out of the house and raised Lilah and Damien as her own. Dirk and Lilith never got back together after that point. Dirk had to work hard to get back into Mary-Sue's good graces and Lilith ended up wandering around the woods with her Dad.

  • Last time I played Pleasantville, I actually kept Dustin and Angela together. They just seem made for each other. I put them in a college household together but I never got around to playing them because my game, and later my actual laptop, crashed and deleted my entire UC.
  • I don't remember what I did with Lillith and Dirk though. I think I kept them in separate households from the neighborhood screen.
  • Well when i was still able to play sims 2 i usually just had lilith dating my own sims and i would have anyway cursed angela with bad future >:)

so yeah i would not change the match up if i were to play them again

quite enjoy idea of dustin and angela having bad relationship

but i dont wanna mess lilith in it
  • I send the girls off to university to prepare for decent careers and meet appropriate mates I've made for them. Aged up Lilith is one good looking simette!
  • I usually keep the pairings the same; but, now, I may just make two single male sims in CAS; one for Angela and one for Lilith. I would like to carry on a different storyline and see where this goes.
  • I’ve not thought of trying this until recently so I plan on giving it a try. >:)
  • i tend to create my own version of the lore (which is usually the same storyline repeated) for ts2 everytime i restart the neighborhoods, so i usually break them up immediately then pair dustin & dirk together while lilith and angela find townie girlfriends or sims i create for variety.
