Enlarging the UI ?
I have used this cheat code to enlarge the UI, as suggested by the latest patch update:
uintProp uiScaleFactor 3
..... nothing happens.
am I missing something?
Thank you.

Have you tried using the cheat "boolProp testingcheatsenabled true" first, then trying the UI Scale cheat?
It only works for resolutions higher than 1080. They still did not address small UI in 1080 resolution and at this time, I am afraid they never will, considering from excuses they made in a thread regarding this issue for Sims 1 (excuses no one bought, BTW).
Please, EA, listen to us and fix small UI for the most used resolution which is 1080 in both Sims 1 and 2. It's not that much to ask, is it?
I tried..... still, nothing happens.
I also tried this cheat and it doesn't work for me either. Ever since Patch 6 the menus, loading screens, and UI have all been far too small for any human to comfortably read or look at. I play on a laptop (as most do in the year 2025) and there is zero reason why running the game on it should be an issue. We shouldn't have to use a cheat just to be able to play a game! This is just outrageous at this point. We waited three weeks for this patch and the game is still unplayable. People have been posting about this issue consistently since March 14 and nothing has been solved. At this point it is just beyond absurd that the team behind this messed up the game so badly. I know people who were able to play all these packs together back in 2008! I myself played most of these packs on a computer with little issue back then as a teenager who didn't even know much about computers. While I am grateful that EA has made The Sims 2 available again after all this time, it is hard not to become annoyed by how badly they screwed things up. At this point I wouldn't even say it is available since we can't play it lol. The game was totally fine when it came out and so many haven't been able to play since March 13. I guess we'll just have to wait another month and hope that they can get it right this time. *eye roll*
I posted about this as well. It doesn't matter what I do, the UI doesn't change at all.
As a streamer the option to go from the game to OBS without the game minimizing is great, but this should be something that I get to choose on my own, that's what windowed mode is for and I know how to do that. Instead it's been forced on me, and now I can barely see the interface. I've gone back to my old install. It's easier than squinting at my monitor trying to read things.
