An issue that has plagued The Sims 2 since its inception is 'first-born syndrome'. This issue basically means that the first child born in each game session will be identical to the couple's first-born child. More info is here https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/First-Born_Syndrome

Lazy Duchess's mod doesn't work with the EA App version of the game, so people who bought the game on EA App have no mod options to fix this bug.
LD updated again today to say it should hopefully work on EA app now 👍
