How to make Custom Content?

I would love to make custom content (just decorative items) for my Sims 2 legacy game but I cant figure out how since I used to do it with SimPE (+CEP, Milkshape) but those dont work anymore for the legacy edition. Did someone already made custom items? I use blender the newest version but it doesnt work at all for me. Any ideas?

The Sims 2 subreddit r/Sims2 would probably be more knowledgeable on this.

You can also try modthesims.com. And also googling in general.

Modthesims is way to old and neither SimPE, nor CEP etc. work, as I wrote, +legacy has different files then the old Sims collections
