Please,bring TheSims2 Legacy Collection to macOS🙏🏻
Hello everyone,
I was really excited to see the release of The Sims 2 Legacy Collection. For many fans, The Sims 2 is one of the most beloved games in the entire Sims franchise, and it’s amazing to see it getting attention again.
However, there is one big problem for many players: the game is currently only available for Windows.
Many fans use macOS today, especially with modern Apple Silicon Macs (M1, M2, M3 and newer). These computers are powerful and very common, but Mac players currently cannot enjoy the Legacy Collection without complicated workarounds such as virtual machines or cloud gaming.
It would be amazing if Electronic Arts and Maxis considered releasing a macOS version of the Legacy Collection. There is already a Mac version of The Sims 2 (Super Collection), which shows that there is clearly a Mac player base interested in the game.
A macOS release could:
- bring many Mac players back to the game
- introduce a new generation of players to The Sims 2
- preserve one of the most loved games in the Sims series
I’m curious to hear what others think.
