Thanks so much for your answer. I remember, for instance, being able to remove the bed from two sims that were "getting busy" under the cover and seeing a mixture of fused flesh, arms and legs . Was I able to do this using a game trick? How could this have been possible?
I remember seeing video clips way back, where players had removed the Sims from the bed or the bed from under the Sims to reveal the weird movements they do under there to get the animations we normally see. Very... "The Thing". They may have had the Move Objects cheat on and grabbed the bed. They may also have been in first person camera mode and zoomed into the bed until it disappeared. I'm not sure and I haven't seen any of those videos in years.
Edit: I just found a thread from Mod the Sims, from 2005. The OP says they went outside to a window by the bed and moved the camera to look into the window at the bed, then moved up enough that the bed disappeared and they could see the Sims floating. Someone named pfish also made a transparent bed cc that I'm sure some people used in their videos.
