Propose>Move in Glitching
I started my playable sim out in college to which she graduated. After college she begun a romantic relationship with one of her fellow college classmates. She invites him over to the lot and proposes to move in to which he ages into an adult and becomes apart of the family, but the action never fully completes as I cannot save the game and if I make them go to downtown it glitches where they both leave the lot and the lot continues to run instead of loading the community lot. Is this a known glitch? Do I need a mod?
Does anyone remember the Sun shaped house lot??
Hi all! Does anyone remember the sun shaped house lot in the lots and houses bin when The Sims 2 was first released years ago?? I remember it well and loved moving my sims into it when I was little. I can't remember if it was released in The Sims 2 base game or one of the expansion packs like Seasons. However, it wasn't included in the new Sims 2 Legacy re-release. It was literally sun shaped with the rays coming out. I've tried googling it EVERYWHERE and I can't find even a picture of it. It's kind of driving me crazy lol. I KNOW it was definitely a thing. I can even see it in my mind. I wonder where I might be able to download it. I know I could always build one like it myself but it would be really cool if they included it in the re-release. Does anyone else remember this lot? Or is this some mandala effect because as I said, it's driving me crazy. I know it existed! Please let me know if you remember it too. Also if EA sees this can you confirm this? Thanks and happy Simming!
A completionist challenge for the Sims 2?
Hi. I was wondering if there's a completionist challenge and/or checklist for this game. I found a tracker for a pack legacy challenge but I'm looking for something that covers everything for the game. Found something like it for the Sims 3 and 4 and I'd like something similar for this game too. Alternatively I'm thinking about compiling a tracker for it if there's interest. And if someone wanted to lend me a hand then even better. Also if the pack legacy challenge indeed covers everything then please let me know so I won't work on something that's already been done. Also side note: lemme know your favorite challenges and if you know of a good save file tracker too let me know.
Please fix the "Object Limit"
Hello, An amazing coder named Will Nixon has been digging into a bug in The Sims 2 called the "Object Limit" and has figured out how it could be fixed. The game has a signed 16-bit integer cap on the amount of OBJDs it can process at any one point in time. Please remove this cap, as the amount of Custom Content available for The Sims 2 these days FAR exceeds the bounds of this limit.
