Is Sims 2 worth to buy, or is it still buggy?
Hi! I have been wondering about buying the Sims 2, the version which was re-released on windows 10/11 some time ago. I remember hearing about it being so bug-filled, that it was almost unplayable and dissappearing in EA Play or something like that. I vaguely remember seeing lots of people talk about it in Tiktok etc. and people being pretty upset about it. Am I tripping or remembering correctly? If I am being right, has the situation gotten any better? If not, what are the bugs you have encountered or bugs that are common with other people you might have heard. I just want to know the situation more clearly, before spending any money. Thanks!
Sims 2 Legacy Collection Neighborhoods
I bought the Sims 2 Legacy Collection from the EA app as part of the 25 year anniversary re-release. I had never played Sims 2 prior to 2025 and from what I have heard, this collection is supposed to have all EPs, and SPs except the Ikea Pack and all neighborhoods. When I launch it only has 6 neighborhoods to choose from. How do I know if all the packs are actually included? Even the Sims 2 folder only has 6 neighborhoods...E001, F001, G001, N001, N002 and N003. I don't even know which neighborhood is which, but am I supposed to have more than this? Please help.
Infinite Loading screen at comunity lots
Hello Everyone ! So recently i decided to give the legacy edition a second chance ! and i tried to play a neighbourhood but the thing is that on any neighbourhood i play on the problem is some comunity lots wont load at all and i get stuck on the loading screen ! Some of these lots for example are the comunity pool in pleasantview and the clothing shop there and the pool in strangetown and some lots in bluewater village that i cant remember the names of ! so after that i tried some fixes google suggested like running the game on adminstrator mode or playing the game on compatability mode but nothing worked ! i am playing on a clean version of the neighbourhoods and i just installed the game and i havent done anything to cause curruption in my game like messing with game files or deleting sims so i dont think curruption is the problem ! Do any of you guys have the same problems ? and are there any fixes ?
Error with Neighborhood Stories
I noticed The Belladonna Cove only generates 6 pages in Legacy Collection: Belladonna Cove should have 12 pages as per the Disc/Ultimate version: Furthermore, the Riverblossom Hills Neighborhood Story is broken in the Legacy Collection: Appreciate it if we could fix this issue. Have a nice day! :)
Sims 2 crashes after a while of gameplay.
It's been a long time since my The Sims 2 has been crashing for some reason that I don't know. It just closes (Without any error message)! I don't see anything about this and I wonder if I'm going through this problem alone... Does anyone know anything? Please, I'm going to go crazy trying to fix it.
