I'm having exactly the same problem since yesterday. I don't have any mods. Tried deleting the cache files, uninstalling and reinstalling, and repairing the game from EA app but the game keeps crashing

this is happening to me too💔 the games been crashing when I load university. Now it crashes when my sims go to a place like downtown for a date?? This never happened before idk what to do

I've been having the same issue, glad it's not just me. Just about anything makes it crash. I was trying to look at a sim's family tree and it crashed. Switching neighborhoods makes it crash. I've tried repairing the game and restarting the app, it still crashes

Had this also happen to me. Uninstalled, reinstalled. worked for a little while and same thing happened again.

This just happened with me today. My Sims face disappeared after I tried to put makeup on her and then she completely disappeared. I tried to move the Sim to college using "send sims to college" and this is what I'm looking at. Every once in a while I see a flickering green plumbob but I don't even have a panel at the bottom. 

Edit to add this is Legacy edition that I've had for close to a year.

I'm having the same issue. It doesn't save my changes concerning bought items, and some sims have faces missing like others say. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it didn't help. There were no issues previously.

I don't know what causes invisible Sims, but FFS Lot Debugger has an option to fix them. It's been happening since the early 2000s.
