Apparently, they are thinking about it and have told a user/s to look out for social media posts regarding it.
Damn I am in and 100% support this. I really want to be able to play sims 2 without my Windows 10 laptop regarding it as malware (I have everything on disk form) and blocking it and then saying the admin did it even though I'm the only admin.
Tried everything and windows 10 is still just like "Nope, an admin blocked it" as I swear at my laptop and tell it "I AM THE ONLY ADMIN AND I DIDN'T BLOCK IT".
The only way I have managed to avoid the issue is by creating a whole new admin account on my laptop and installing it on that account and playing it on that account. For me, that was pretty annoying because it means I had to transfer a 7gb CC folder from one account to another, as well as my sims 2 data going back to like... 2007...
Along with that you also have to cheat the installation process by replacing the disk files with "windows 10 compatible" files from the Internet (because the sims 2 updater can't produce the files themselves on any system past xp I think?) just to actually install the game itself...

@enchantedbyyou @SianAF148 Although The Sims 2 can sometimes be problematic on newer systems, pretty much any issue can be fixed if you know what to do. If you have any particular issues, please start a new thread with as many details as you can, including your OS, version of the game, list of packs, which (if any) packs are bundled into a collection, as well as any steps you might have already taken to solve an issue.
