Screen resolution issue still not fixed after today's new update.

My screen resolution for the sims 2 was pretty good to begin with because I just went into the resolution settings and set it to whatever looked good in my game. I was happy with that. However, since the update, it has changed the game to suit my laptop's resolution but the UI is way too tiny. This is why I changed the resolution in the game to begin with but now, I can't even change the resolution at all in the game's settings. It's completely greyed out for me and I can't select the resolution I want. It was working for me perfectly before and suited me and now all it's done is give me issues. I have found the same problem with sims 1. Nothing has gotten better for me personally, it's just got worse and I'm getting pretty fed up now. I'll be posting another forum about this for sims 1 too.

RIGHT!! I am starting to get real angry about this. The only issue I had with sims 2 and sims 1 is that the UI was too tiny to read. Not the resolution. The UI was all they needed to fix but for some reason they still can't sort it out after hundreds of players have said the same thing. How many more patches do we have to have?? It shouldn't be this hard. And now you can't even change the resolution size in the actual game settings to make the UI a bigger because they've disabled it!! You can only change the resolution/UI if you play in window mode but then, it doesn't fill your screen. It's a little box in the middle of your screen that you can't adjust the size of. No wonder people just download pirated versions because they work better than the legit versions. Like wtf EA. Get it together or give me a job and I'll give the people what they want and fix it in 2 seconds!!

I have them all on disk but the issue is that with modern PCs, getting the disks to run properly or run at all can be very frustrating. Especially for sims 1 and 2. I spent ages researching and downloading patches and mods to get them to run properly. So when EA were rereleasing them, I was excited because it meant I wouldn't have to worry about patches or so I thought. The Sims 3 discs do work very well for me though too. No issues there.

My game is also super laggy and jerky now since this update! It was running perfectly up until this update. I can't even play it. Hurry up and fix it. I'm sick of waiting.
