Show Off Your Hood

Ooh...an architects office. Never thought of that one. Do you put the drafting table there and just have sims skill there? Do they sell houses?

Do you know if it is possible to have a real estate office. I vaguely remember that you could, but I don't remember how.

Yes, you can sell lots- community lots- at a Restate office. :)

They buy the lots and sell them like other thing. :)
*Hang the lot plaque which is put in their inventories once they buy the lot. Be careful, they can sell their own lot out from under them. I had Mortimer Goth buy up the whole town of community areas in Pleasantview once, then I sent Sims there to buy their new business. It made sense to me. XD

@Mstybl95, @Rflong7, OMG these hoods are great. I usually stick to Sims 4, but your hoods are giving me an itch to play Sims 2.

@Rflong7 - thanks for the tips on a real estate venture. Will townies buy them if they have the cash? Or worse...even if they don't? And thanks for the compliment. I was aiming for a city feel for the main hood. If I can ever get this darn game to stop crashing, I'm going to start working on the agricultural sub-hood.

Yes, townies will buy them. If a Townie buys them they become available to buy again. The townies don't keep them like they would if it were a statue or cake. :) Which is wonderful.
A Player Sim buys it, they keep it. The option to sell it to them comes up before they can buy it, iirc. :)

Last week I started recreating houses from Disney movies, I plan to make a whole neighborhood based on animated movies hehe.

Last night I made a tiny apartment building. I still didn't make the interiors for these lots but here is the exterior. It's meant to be a building with cheap apartments for sims on a budget / that are fresh from CAS.

:D They look like Sim City because they are. Sims 2 create a world was done with Sim City. Yes you can make your own neighborhoods from scratch in 2. Even without Sim City there are still empty templates that come with the game.

If you are on Windows you could just ask EA for the Ultimate Collection to be put in your Origin account. Sometimes people have to try more then once to get a good rep, some get it the first time.
