Sim can't eat - Sims 2 Legacy

my sim that could not eat is getting worse - now they no longer get paid from work and also their secondary aspiration is completely bugged :(

Yes! Same thing has been happening to me, even after I run a repair through EA. I did find that they will eat delivery food, just not food cooked by themselves🤦‍♀️😂🤦‍♀️ I hope this and the crashing gets fixed soon!

Me too! Cant get my adult sim to eat any cooked food. He cooks it then it disappears. I tried doing testingcheats, move objects on, and deleting him in buy mode. When i reload the household he is there still, but the issue still exists.

Yep, same issue here ! My sims tries to cook something and the food just disappears in the oven, i tried with every oven in the game, tried to reload the game, deleted the cache file, but it doesn't work anyway, super frustrating

I'm have the same issue, but it'd have a pop up with an "error," with the option to reset or delete, It was not letting my poor sim eat. I came across this post and tired what you did, but I sold: the stove, fridge, table and chairs. My sim is now happily eating cereal before school. I'd say this is one type of solution because I wouldn't doubt this is multiple different types of bugs/glitches.

same issue. cant cook on stove, cant get alien abduction to make sim pregnant (tried dozens of times animation happens but no result) 

Hi zusammen! Mein Englisch ist nicht so gut, daher schreibe ich auf Deutsch.. Aber ich habe die selben Probleme.  Auch Kontakte knüpfen im Park wird einfach abgebrochen. Und das college anrufen wegen Stipendium anfragen auch.. Selbst Erinnerungen werden dann keine neuen mehr hinzugefügt. Den ersten Kuss kann man sich dann immer wieder holen (und anschauen). So macht Spielen keinen Spaß. Ich hoffe, dass EA das schnell behebt. 

Same issue, sim can’t cook food, it disappears straight away. Can only snack or easy takeaway.
