Sims + sims 2 25th anniversary no-launch/app crash

I'm having this issue as well with the Sims 1. 

Running in compatibility mode for Windows 7 seems to work for me. Right click on the desktop shortcut and go to properties:

Alternatively the game works in Windowed mode. To enable add -w to the end of the target under the shortcut tab:

Seems a bit insane considering the game has been released specifically for Windows 11...

still sims 1 not working, I have windows 10

I have same issues so, i thinking about payback, because it cost me 40 euros both games and i have nothing .. so 

i try this for Sims1 not work for me, but sims 2 just crash 1 one time yesterday when travel to the gym, i restart the game and strat with boroke family and its go perfectly but i want refund still, its nonsense that u paid money for something that u dont know if they even try fix this .. very dissapointed, so i will wait to nex week and then when we will know more maybe buy it again whe they fix it .. 

Been installing and reinstalling and Sims 1 will not launch. I asked for and received a refund today.February 2,2025. So so sad I really wanted to play

Sims 1 again.
