Sims 2 download grayed out on EA App
After purchasing the Sims 2 Legacy collection, I was directed to go into my library and begin downloading. When I have entered the library the Sims 2 icon is grayed out with "available on Windows" underneath it. I am unable to click or do anything with the icon and have tried restarting the app and clearing the cache.
Are you using a Mac? The Sims 2 Legacy Collection is unfortunately not supported on Mac OS. There are two options to let you play The Sims 2 on a Mac - either use virtualisation software to let you run the Windows version of the game OR you could buy The Sims 2: Super Collection on the Mac App Store. That version doesn't have all the packs that were released on Windows but it has most of them and works natively on Mac OS.
