Does anyone remember the Sun shaped house lot??

If you google sims 2 Wiki I believe it will show you all the original lots. I do not recall a sun shaped one at all.  I played from the first release as an adult. I  will do some more searching just in case in may case its a memory lapse. LOL

Could it have been a custom build? There were also those icons in the Seasons pack, could it be you remembered the sun logo and associated with a house?

Hey! It was definitely a house in the lots and houses bin that you could add to your game. Definitely in Sims 2. I think it might have only been like a bonus content with one pack at a certain time. It wasn't the logo. I used to move my sims into it and would play. It had a flat roof too so it stood out heaps from the neighbourhood view. This is seriously blowing my mind hey. Its like it is a mandala affect because I remember it well. I've been playing sims since it first came out in 2000 and have played all the versions for the last 26 years lol. 

Yeah same! I'm 34, I've played for years and all the versions since the very first game in 2000 but i do remember this house in the Sims 2. All I can think is that it was some sort of one off custom/bonus content or something. I remember both my sister and I playing it and we thought it was really cool but because it was so oddly shaped it was also a bit weird how furniture was placed. Especially the little rooms in the shape of the sun rays. Gosh, this really is mind boggling. As I said before, definitely mandala effect for sure lol. I wish i could find it on google but the issue is, this new AI thing on google gives very conflicting and incorrect results. I found it said it did exist but then it was saying it didnt. Especially when i asked ChatGPT. 

I wish i could find it so I could take a screenshot and show you guys! 

So I've tried to research more and the only possible explanation i could find is that apparently there were many maxis made released custom lots on the old thesims2.com exchange website but unfortunately so many of them were completely lost once the site officially closed down. So those weren't included in the actual game/disc but were an extra that could be downloaded from the exchange. I know there were some bonus content for certain discs released in certain regions around the world so I'm not sure if that was the case but i think it was readily available to everyone who wished to download it. This makes sense to me why I can't find it. Not all of those lots can be accessed anymore and most of these no longer exist. The only baffling thing is that this sun shaped house is pretty unique that I'm surprised many don't remember it and they probably won't if they never downloaded it off the exchange website. Its such a same.
