Sims 2 Legacy - Items disappearing from sim inventory slowly

I have had this issue with multiple sims- after getting an item in their sim inventory (like the infamous computer or objects they dug from "Dig for Treasure", the item will be visible for some time ...

No, unfortunately. I’m not playing much until issues like that one are fixed, I’m worried that with memories/items disappearing my neighborhoods will become corrupted and will be broken even if they do fix the problem. I recommend saving a backup of your neighborhood if you care about it a lot..
