Sims 2 Legacy : 'Application has crashed, application will now terminate.'

Anyone having problems with 'Application has crashed, application will now terminate.' on sims 2 legacy while create a family? How to fix it please 🙏🏻

    Receiving the same message after a few minutes of opening the game.

    Yep having the same problem, and getting same error after trying to enter the world after creating a sim family :(

    I'm having the same issue in the Legacy Edition. Can start the game just fine, but when trying to save a family in CAS, the game crashes with the "The application has crashed. The application will now terminate." notice.

    I'm having the same issue. Made my family twice and it crashed both times :(
