Sims 2 Legacy : 'Application has crashed, application will now terminate.'

Im having the same issue. I recently patched to the latest version. The game loads a lot faster, thank you for that but every new lot I build crashes. Please see screenshots for progression

I did a little QA on this and found it is only crashing on "Beach" type lots. The regular lots work fine. I also noticed there appears to be some lagging when bulldozing lots. Not crashing but seems like something could use some adjusting. 

cant even play the game at all anymore because of this!! first, the game deleted all my CAS families, so i started playing premade families just to get my moneys worth...now i cant play at all...get this error every time i load into ANY household. I have a brand new $3,000 gaming computer as well... should not be happening. I'm insanely upset....been way too patient with EA

I'm having the same issue! Ever since the update it's been popping up with the message to terminate any time I try to enter into a family.

Me too I can finally open the game but now when I go and create a family I can’t because of this

I was so happy to finally be able to play the game today after the patch because my game wouldn’t launch and now I get this error too… one thing after anotherEA_Cade is it possible to fix this issue?

Same issue, created a family (one Sim only), placed her on an empty lot and the game crashed while loading to play said Sim. Here is my DxDiag.

Yes I'm now having this issue when I try to build a sim or try to go into an existing family. Happened after the update today.

My game does not function at all. I selected a neighborhood to play - Pleasantview. Selected a household to play - Goth family. The appliecation crashes  while attempting to load the household. I tried loading the Goth Family a second time. Same. I tried loading the Dreamer Household. Same. Broke Household. Same. I tried moving The Burb Family into a house. Same. After this a I gave up and made no attempts to try Create a Sim.

I attempted twice attaching the Log.zip folder. Don't know what I am doing wrong but not really motivated to work at fixing a broken game.
