Sims 2 Legacy : 'Application has crashed, application will now terminate.'

If I bought the games through EA, can I still get them on Steam? Or would I have to buy it again?

Literally how do we fix it?!

Same issue! Right after character creation.. 

My sims 2 did good for 6 hrs now it crashing

Same here i saved right before my cat comes home from work and now it's crashing everytime they come home. It's unplayable now

I don't even get to make it to the main menu any more 🥲

I also just had this issue creating a family and the game crashing. Didn't even make it further to finishing making a family.  I don't understand how this wasn't tested before authorizing to re-sell the game.  I want this game, but this is unacceptable. I may have to ask for a refund.

literally exact same problem here, my cat got a promotion then my game crashed. so upset cause i hadnt saved at all. :( 

I just downloaded and spent 20 minutes making a single sim to explore and it crashed.
