Sims 2 Legacy : 'Application has crashed, application will now terminate.'

I had the same problem earlier. When I left CAS, and the game was loading to the world, the message popped up then the game crashed.  :(

Just go back in the game and get your family from the bin.

Same here. Super disappointed 😭

This is actually a part of the legacy in this Legacy Edition. I remember this window very well from 20 years ago. 

I'm having this issue! In my case, it started immediately after I raised the graphics, and now it won't let me in the game at all before crashing.

Im having the same issue i really hope ea fixes this problem if not ill probably request a refund because this is ridiculous, let me know if you find a fix for this pleaseee

I am also have this exact same issue. Loading my family, it crashes. And it has also crashed with the same exact message during gameplay. I have played 3 hours and I have had it crash 4 times. 
Thank god I save all the time.

I am also having this issue. It seems to happen randomly for me, not during a certain action or screen. 

same. hoping this is something they can fix. i want a refund at this point :(
