When going through the process of becoming a witch, the option appears - "teach me the ways of light/darkness". The NPC character then casts a spell, my sim floats in the air for a second as if the transformation is starting, then my sim resets. A popup appears welcoming me and saying a cauldron and spell book are placed in my sims inventory, but the items are not present, and my sim remains unchanged.
I have the same issue! I hope they please fix this asap
I have the same problem, I get the confirmation message, but nothing happens with the sim :(
Hylihte TheHefly Alaska99 If you enable testing cheats (boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true) before attempting to become a witch, does any error show up during the witch transformation?
Please also test this in a fresh Sims 2 user folder. In Documents\EA Games\, move The Sims 2 Legacy folder to your desktop and launch the game to create a fresh one. You can delete the newly created one after testing and move back the one you placed on the desktop.
sim a witch but i was sending her home but somehow, she was deleted with the loading screen...
breezy9592 There is an issue at the moment where some Sims get lost after reloading the game or traveling; is she gone from other Sims' memories and relationships?
