Sims 2 Legacy Collection Randomly Crashing

Question

I am playing on PC using the EA app.&nbsp;The sims 2 has been constantly randomly crashing, with no error message or warning. I can then restart the game and play for a while but then it eventually randomly crashes again. It doesn't seem to be happening at any particular moment like travel, etc.&nbsp;I have read many forms and attempted to get in contact with EA support, but that's non existent. I have uninstalled the game, deleted the files, cleared cache files, repaired the game in the EA app.&nbsp;My computer meets requirements and no other games have the issue, so I am not sure what else to try.&nbsp;Any help is appreciated.&nbsp;

smstief​&nbsp; If you use any mods or custom content, please remove everything and repair the game (again), then test.&nbsp; You don't need to save your progress, or you can test with a new save first.
If you don't use mods or cc, or testing your existing save without them doesn't help, please test a new save, for comparison's sake.&nbsp; I'm not saying you have to get rid of your old save, only that this is useful info.
If the new save is affected too, please provide a dxdiag. &nbsp;Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. &nbsp;From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
