Sims 2 Collection unable to click to tell sims what to do

I was middle of gaming when I was unable to click on anything to tell my sims what to do.
I can still click on objects if I am in buy mode and I can click through a sims info.
This has happened in all my neighbourhoods.

I've restarting family then the game. but it didn't work. I've tired the repair game button EA now has but nothing has worked please help.

Hey Chellan93 , what type of mouse are you using? Is it a "regular" mouse or a mouse that requires driver updates?

Have you also tried launching the game in Windowed mode to see if that helps? From EA app click on The Sims 2 > Manage > View properties > Add the following characters to the "Advanced launch options": -w
