Sims 2 Legacy Issues

My sim keeps resetting from multiple things cooking, trying to collect money from money tree, when coming back from work which makes it impossible to earn money, there is also still pink soup in the game. The game crashes every time you exit CAS. My play time for the game on steam also keeps fluctuating at first it said i'd played for 10.5 hours then 9 hours now 7 hours. Each time i play it seems as my hours spent on the game decrease?!  GAME NEEDS BUG/CRASH FIXES!
