Sims 2 not launching

Whenever I try to open the game it says that it's not compatible with 64 bits Windows so it's not supported. I tried almost everything but it doesnt work. I bought it on epic games and It shows that I didn't install the game even tho I did? And I cant ever return it because I managed to open it for once out of luck and played for three hours before it crashed.
