Sims 2 Product Code Activates as Spore – Need Manual Fix

Hi EA Support/Mods,

I’m trying to activate my physical copy of *The Sims 2* and I’ve hit a frustrating issue with no resolution after 2 hours of live chat with 2 separate people. 

When I enter the code printed on the original box, it activates as *Spore* in the EA app instead of *The Sims 2*. I’ve confirmed that I have the correct disc, packaging, and code — it’s a real boxed copy with a valid-looking serial. But the game won’t install because of this incorrect linking, and EA support chat has not been able to help — they told me to go back to the retailer (which I no longer remember).

Here’s what I have:
- Physical box and disc
- Barcode: 4014377402178
- Code printed inside the case
- Proof photos (attached)

This seems like an issue with how the product key is mapped in EA’s system. I’m not asking for a refund — I just want to access the game I actually own.

Could someone on the community team escalate this to have *The Sims 2* manually added to my EA account or reissued with a valid entitlement?

    I'm very sorry to say, we cannot help with code or account related issues over the forums. We don't have the ability to grant a new code or the game. The best I can advise is to try contacting an advisor again.

    Hello. I removed the images showing your code as well as the screenshot of your account. Please do not post private information on public forums.

    As far as this issue goes, please open a case with an advisor by following the instructions here. We cannot help with code related issues over the EA Forums. Thanks!

    Sorry about the attachments. My bad. I'm not very good at all this :( . 

    I have gone to the live chat with advisors 3 times now and they're not very helpful. I asked for a contact email to officially escalate the complaint but they refused to give it to me. You seem a lot more helpful and friendly! Wondering if you might have that on hand?
