Sims 2 Rerelease Unable to Launch- Steam 1-31-25

I purchased the Sims 25th birthday bundle on Steam and I am unable to launch The Sims 2 or The Sims. I receive no error message it just freezes my computer to where I can’t click anything and then I have to force restart my computer.
