Will this work properly on D drive?

All my EA App games are installed on my C drive, but that's low on space so I want to install the re-release on my D drive. I have changed the install location in the EA App to the D drive (hopefully this doesn't impact my other games installed to C drive LOL) and specifically chose to install the game on the D drive. My concern is that the user data (saves, mods, CC) won't save on the D drive, which is obviously gonna affect the game. Will user data save to D drive since I'm installing it there first, or do I need to make a symbolic link?
