Sims 2 won’t launch

Hi! whenever i try launching the game an error code pops up on my computer saying “unsupported 16 bit application“ then on the epic games app it says

“ Launch Failed

Could not launch The Sims 2 + The Sims 2 Packs. Please verify the installation.

Error Code: LS-0013” 

Does anyone have a fix to this? please help!!
