I had been on and off the game since this morning after updating the game with today's patch. Later in the evening I clicked on the sims 2 to play (on Ea app) and got this (see picture). I've repaired the sims 2 several times, repaired the Ea app and uninstalled the sims 2.. Reinstalled the sims 2 and now waiting for it to be done to see if that helps. .... Done installing.... Nope still nothing.
Someone please help.

EDIT: I had made a back up of my "The Sims 2 Legacy" folder before I played the game when I first downloaded the game. I replaced the files in my documents folder The Sims 2 Legacy and the game launched. I haven't played yet, I will check it out tomorrow and let you know. But I wanted to report that now the game did load.

I appreciate that very much. The problem is after I found that my back up folder I made worked.
I deleted the one that gave me issues. I did attach the Sims2Exception. txt that was in the log folder in my original post here. If I run into the problem again I will differently return and send you the folders.

Just wanted to update this post. I haven't played the game since I had problems.
