Sims reset when buying new clothes

When my Sims go to the store to buy new clothes they reset right after the money exchange and all other tasks are gone from their task list. If the Sim has the wish to buy new cloth, the wish won't be fullfilled.

The clothes will still appear in their wardrobe. So this isn't something gamebreaking - but I also noticed that it doesn't happen in every neighboorhood. I play in a selfmade neighboorhood with the La Fiesta Tech University attached. As of right now the problem just appeared in the main neighborhood and not on campus.

Also just clothes are affected. Buying food or games or anything else works normal.

I tried different stores (all selfmade) and the different cash register types. All have the same bug in the main neighboorhood.
