sims2 - Build/buy/Needs bar size

Just like any rereleased games they are bound to have problems..sims1 was having problems with screen sizes and needs bar size which now has been fixed and im happy playing the sims1 again.

but now my sims2 is having the issue.

There was no problems when playing the sims2 it all worked great and screen size was perfect along with size of the build/buy/needs bar when i bought the bundle but now im having problems just like i was with the sims1 on the size.. iv tried every screen size option in the game and nothing seems to work.. everything was fine until i did a EA update on the game.

the game still works great and becomes full screen while in a neighborhood or in game play but not in the neighborhood selection thats small aswell iv also updated my graphics to see if that could help but..nothing...is there any way to zoom in to make the needs bar bigger? might not be a big issue to some but i personally just like a bigger needs bar like before.

any help would be appreciated

  • darkdagree3 One of the patches removed Fullscreen mode and replaced it with Borderless, meaning the resolution adapts to your system settings (Settings > System > Display); you can try lowering the resolution there to see if the UI becomes larger.

Alternatively, if your resolution is higher than 1920x1080, you can try the cheat uintProp uiScaleFactor x (replace x with 1, 2 or 3) as described in the April 3 Patch Notes. Hopefully one of these suggestions works for you, or EA finds a way to make UI scaling options more accessible.
